The Mogil Law Firm was founded in 1997 with offices in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. Hilton Head is an international destination and our law practice reflects the same scope and diversity as the local community and economy. Our attorneys have practice in a variety of business and geographic settings.

Michael W. Mogil practice concentrates in commercial and general litigation, corporate and business transactions, bankruptcy and asset protection, immigration and real estate.

​

Mr. Mogil is originally from the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area where he graduated from Haverford College. He graduated Cum Laude from Tulane Law School where he was a member of the Moot Court Board and a founding member of the now nationally prominent Environmental Law Clinic. After school, Mr. Mogil practiced commerical and environmental law was associated with Blank Rome Comiskey and McCauley in Philadelphia, Sinnreich Wasserman in New York, and McKenna and Cuneo in Los Angeles.

 

Mr. Mogil has argued before the Supreme Court and Court of Appeals in South Carolina, the Commonwealth Court in Pennsylvania, and practices before the state and federal courts in South Carolina and New York.

 

He also was a pro bono attorney for the Sierra Club Legal Defense Fund in Seattle and the Environmental Defense Fund in New York. Mr. Mogil is licensed to practice law in South Carolina, Florida, New York and Pennsylvania (inactive).
